Licensed Work:        NEURON (including the compiler, runtime, and standard library)
Additional Use Grant: You may use the Licensed Work for any non-production purpose.
                      Use of the Licensed Work in production is prohibited.
Change Date:          January 1, 2030
Change License:       Apache License, Version 2.0


Terms of the License

1. Grant of License. The Licensor hereby grants you a non-exclusive, royalty-free,
   worldwide, non-sublicensable, non-transferable, and limited license to Use the
   Licensed Work, subject to the conditions in Section 2.

2. Conditions. You may Use the Licensed Work only (a) as permitted by the
   Additional Use Grant, or (b) for non-production purposes. Any other Use of the
   Licensed Work is prohibited.

3. Change to Change License. Effective on the Change Date, the Licensor hereby
   grants you a license to Use the Licensed Work under the terms of the Change
   License.

4. Intellectual Property Rights. The Licensor retains all ownership, intellectual
   property, and other rights in the Licensed Work.

5. Support. The Licensor has no obligation to support the Licensed Work or to
   provide you with any updates, bug fixes, or modifications.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty. THE LICENSED WORK IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT
   WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE
   WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND
   NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LICENSOR OR ANY OTHER CONTRIBUTOR BE
   LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF
   CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE
   LICENSED WORK OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE LICENSED WORK.

7. Limitation of Liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW,
   IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LICENSOR OR ANY OTHER CONTRIBUTOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY
   SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING,
   BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS OR CONFIDENTIAL OR OTHER
   INFORMATION, FOR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, FOR PERSONAL INJURY, FOR LOSS OF
   PRIVACY, FOR FAILURE TO MEET ANY DUTY INCLUDING OF GOOD FAITH OR OF REASONABLE
   CARE, FOR NEGLIGENCE, AND FOR ANY OTHER PECUNIARY OR OTHER LOSS WHATSOEVER)
   ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE
   LICENSED WORK, EVEN IF THE LICENSOR OR ANY OTHER CONTRIBUTOR HAS BEEN ADVISED
   OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

8. Definitions.

   "Use" means to copy, install, execute, run, share, distribute, display, perform,
   modify, or prepare derivative works of the Licensed Work.

   "Change Date" means the date specified in the Parameters.

   "Change License" means the license specified in the Parameters.

   "Additional Use Grant" means the additional use grant specified in the
   Parameters.
